Prevention and Mitigation of Herbicide-Resistant Weeds

This CAAR Connect session (February 19, 2026 - Dr. Shaun Sharpe) explores strategies to prevent and mitigate herbicide-resistant weeds across the Canadian Prairies. Participants will gain insight into how herbicide resistance develops, the role of weed biology and seedbank dynamics, and how integrated management practices can slow the spread of resistant species such as kochia and wild oat.
