Intercropping Pulses for Disease Management in the Canadian Prairies

This CAAR Connect session (March 26, 2026 – Michelle Hubbard) explores pulse intercropping and its role in supporting disease management, crop resilience, and overall system performance in Prairie production systems. Participants will gain insight into the benefits and practical considerations of intercropping, including crop combinations, in-crop management, harvest logistics, weed suppression, yield stability, and disease management considerations.
