Reducing Nitrogen Use and Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Potato Systems Without Sacrificing Yield

This CAAR Connect session (April 9, 2026 – Judith Nyiraneza) explores nitrogen fertilizer management and crop rotation strategies and their role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining potato productivity. Participants will gain insight into nitrogen use efficiency, fertilizer management approaches, enhanced efficiency fertilizers, and how management decisions can support both environmental stewardship and crop performance in potato production systems.
